Initially, First Moms Club was a facebook group which aimed towards connecting Indian moms all over the world to come together and share their own stories,their pains, their joy and their struggle with different mothers to motivate & show the strength which every mother secretly possess.. We all see how mothers care for us but that’s not it, we fail to understand the mini details that require to fulfil the criteria of motherhood. It is much more than we can ever think of.

Ruchita Dar Shah, is the founder of First Moms Club and a mother of two. She worked in a advertising company first, but her husband was a banker and he had to shift to different cities and so do her. She took breaks in her career and spent her time with her family and learning new skills.
When she became her other, she realised that there is almost no forum or community where mothers can talk about motherhood and parenting. Soon she also realised that when it comes to parenting, people and friends around her used google to seek parenting advice.
The idea of building an online community came to her mind where people can share their ideas and knowledge and also can connect on the same page. She believes that everyone should have their own space where they can talk about their hardships and their experiences, because coming from a Indian family, a woman/mother is expected to be strong and adjust according to the situation. Sometimes, for them no one there to talk. She gave the space to all the mothers out there to share their inner thoughts without being judged.

First Moms Club now have over 2 lakh members all over the world i.e across 100 countries. The company was started in 2010 and now it has grown largely with millions of members connecting to each other on motherhood. Why First Moms Club became one of the successful platforms for motherhood and parenting?
The idea, the intention in building a club like this is magnetic in nature because back then there were very few or almost no such community like this which talked about motherhood,parenting, struggles of a mother and actually it gave the space to all the mothers out there to share their individual stories of being a mother, the essence of love between a child and a mother and the hardships,the struggles that goes into it. It created a bridge between all the mothers no matter where they belong to, because the emotions they shared were similar to each other.
