Suchi Mukherjee – Her Story
Suchi Mukherjee founded Limeroad in the year 2012. At first, the company was basically women-centric and offered products related to women’s lifestyle and fashion but now it offers a wide-range of kids & men products in every category. Also there is a section for kitchen and Home & Decor stuffs. Its an all in package as we can get all the things at one place, no more hustle-bustle and actually helps in saving a lot time.
Just like many of us, Suchi Mukherjee was born & brought up in a middle-class family in Haryana. She did her graduation from St Stephens College Delhi in Economics. After that, for her higher studies she went to London School of Economics,UK and pursued a Master’s degree in Finance & Economics. She was great in studies and always wanted to do something out of the box. Now, she is married and proud mother of two lovely children. Talking about her family, she has mentioned in many of her interviews that her family has been the biggest supporter of her in every situation and stood by her side whenever she needed them.

The Idea Of Creating Limeroad
As she was working in an authoritaive position involving quick decision makings and managing the company’s work flow ignited the dream of her being an successful entrepreneur . She was raised to make a change in the world and set an example for all the women out there. Limeroad made it easier for women to shop things which were difficult to get as it has stuffs from different place across India and also gave the benefit of shipping outside India.
Her observing power lead her to create a platform which never existed before. It became a source of fun and entertainment for all the women as it gave them the wings to get the local products from different places which is really a dream of so many women in India. It was her understanding of the need of the hour that women loves to explore and to have large number of options around them.
In a way, she also created a beautiful connection between the local vendors, many unrecognized sellers and the customers all over the world. She recognised at the correct time to connect these people and was successful in creating the right balance between demand and supply. Her way of thinking has brought all the difference in her work and the ability to properly execute the idea.

That was quite challenging for her as she was having no experience or knowledge about the legal procedures in India. She managed to register her company as she worked really hard to make her dreams come true and she was not at all demotivated at any point of her life because she always believed herself.
The second challenge that she faced, was similar to any other working women i.e to find the right balance between work life and family life. Being a working women, a lot of responsibilities fall into your head, it becomes tough to deal with everything at the same time and even more when you are building up your own dream enterprise. She overcome that challenge with the help of her family who supported her all the way long.
