We celebrate Pride Day, some of us describe ourselves WOKE, but we all can assure that struggle is still real for women. At first we all were distinguished into just two genders, but not anymore and it’s time we all respect that and come forward with equality to all in proper balances.
With changing the language we can address and make everyone feel welcomed which will ultimately lead to prosperity of humankind. It’s time we start using gender inclusive language, adopting a more inclusive language when we have been using the ‘he/she’, so why change now? People are more outspoken and have had more exposure and wish and should be recognised for who they are.
Male and female are no longer only two genders - accept it and understand why the person is the way they are.
If you would not appreciate not being termed or recognized with a specific identification then why let someone feel degraded or unpleasant for who they are. Yes, agreeing with the evolving world and terms could be painstaking and exhausting, monumental things are supposed to be. BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE – stand by it. Yes, it might take time to digest those facts but don’t turn a blind eye to them.

THE SLOW AND NECESSARY STEADY CHANGE
Maybe sometimes we don’t intentionally make it happen but we should use our words and ideas wisely, take everything into account before putting forth our biases and judgements.
There’s no need to always emphasize that “she’s the woman principal or a woman president of the country”, yes granted that you’re proving to the world that women have the same power to lead as men. But, sometimes it can be proven to be nonsensical.
WHAT ARE WE TRYING TO STATE HERE
The article here isn’t just limited to limiting the gender neutral pronouns but also trading the words like mother/daughter to folks/parent, mankind to humankind, fireman to firefighters. By such words you might partially restrict the other genders to come forward and work for it. Around the construction sites we all could see a board of ‘Men at work’, sorry but you’re mistaken but other gender people do work their too, we could easily just change that one word and display ‘People at work’ instead, what’s actually happening behind that board, there’s no shame, they’re working and respect for them should be provided.
We need such acts to be effective in our world, because not everyone wear their gender on their sleeves because of where we currently live in

We all are aware that the legislations of many countries are still dominated by males and so are inappropriate laws and not in the favor of gender neutral language. However, in the 1980s, it was issued by UNESCO the initial edition of “Guide to Non-Sexist Language”. This resulted in eliminating inequality around the globe. Even the laws were focused on the binary genders, unfortunately the non-binary genders are still overlooked of the fold.
In every nation, people look up to the government, they have the authority to change and should be responsible enough to make the change, people chose you because they want to see in action what they truly desire.

The drawbacks and perils of continuing the male or only binary designations

- Perpetuating gender stereotypes (chairman, fireman, etc)
- Negative influence on shaping cultural and social attitudes.
Even though, contribution of such language might not be significantly effective, it surely will minimise the inequality. The difficulty of any task has always never deterred us from creating positive outcomes to our social fabric, so why ought to it now?
So to eliminate this “maleness” from the law language which will escalate the thought process to inequality and empowering all gender based people. The laws must be in favor of all and treating the citizens as equals and also one must understand an inadequate tool to achieve gender equality through affirmative actions and not supplant other actions in process.
So first step to poofing away the malecentric law is to use the words and pronouns wisely and “Chairperson is the need of an hour and not a chairman.”
